May this Christmas give us the chance to be a blessing to others, especially to those who need it most, to those who least expect it, to those that we deeply care about, and to those that deeply cared for us. This particular season is actually a good time for us to have this chance. Let's do our best to be that blessing. To those who became a blessing to me, thank you very much. I am genuinely humbled that you allowed me to be part of your lives.
During the homily of the Christmas Eve at Rockwell, the priest reminded me and the other participants that the very first Christmas happened out of homelessness, suffering and poverty. Christ was born in a manger, and not in a convenient birth place. This is what my fellow countrymen from Iligan and Cagayan De Oro are experiencing at the moment. I pray for them, and I hope that they will be able to overcome the obstacle brought about by typhoon Sendong. A Blessed Christmas to you and your family. May you all have a bright and festive season!
